Description:
Chip Ross Park is ORCA's first orienteering map and one of its best. It is characterized by deep reentrants, nice runnable forested areas, open meadows, and wonderful views of the Willamette Valley. At this time of year, we will be able to do lots of cross country trekking!

Costs: $5.00 for juniors (17 and under), $7.00 for adults, $2.00 discount for any orienteering club members.

Registration Times: Sign up times from 9:30am to 11:30pm. Note that all start times are individually assigned so you don't have to be there right at 9:30!

Beginner Clinics: Clinics will be offered from 9:30am to 12:00pm. Just ask and we will show you how it is done!

Start Times: After you register, we will give you a start time when you are ready to begin. We would like everyone out on the course from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

Course close: All orienteers need to be off the course by 2:00pm, so that we can go out and search for survivors!

Directions:
From I5, take Highway 34, which enters Corvallis as Harrison Blvd. Turn right on 10th St and head north. After 2 flat miles, you'll cross Walnut and the road (now Highland Dr) starts to climb. At the second summit (about 1 mile from Walnut), turn left on Lester Ave (sign for Chip Ross Park), and follow it to the end.
