We had a beautiful day for ORCA's first official meet! We had 47 starts with many people going out two and three times!

Amanda Prentiss and Kari Lysne, the pride of the girl scouts, took the top honors on the white course with 12 minutes even. They then went back out and got second place on the yellow course. Erik "the Flying Finn"
Torniainen and Andrea "the Flying Baby" held them off with a blistering 18:15. Jay Austin, who flew in last year from Virginia, was back to avenge his loss to Andy Dale. The showdown did not happen however as
Andy avoided the confrontation by running a different course. Jay had the winning time of 27:30 on the orange making the trip worthwhile. Andy had the most impressive time of 23:30 on the Norwegian-O. The Norwegian-O course was basically the same as the orange course with no map. Would Andy have beaten Jay if he had the extra weight of the map slowing him down? What about the aero-dynamic drag? Come see the rematch next year!
