Chip Ross Results

Corvallis, Oregon

February 19, 2005

A perfect day for running and rain that waited until the meet director was leaving the parking lot greeted 48 participants and family members to the Chip Ross Park meet. People came from Bend, Cottage Grove, Portland and points in between. We had a strong turnout for the green course, several first-time runners and several families out orienteering.

Many thanks to the volunteers who put on the meet – Larry for beginner clinics, Jeff and Larry for starts & finishes, Paula for registration and especially Ben and Andy for the map and course work. Much of last year’s map has turned into housing, so we added an entirely new section of map on short notice.
